Great show in Amsterdam tonight! I really like the first chapter with the 'Black cat' songs. After that, it was party time! Zucchero and the band did a great job and they had a lot of fun. I'm not a big fan of Marco Borsato and I didn't like his performance. And it was a bit strange that we had to sit on chairs the first part of the concert. I never did that before and I was glad that at chapter 2 we were invited to stand up and dance. I will post the setlist tomorrow

Welcome back on this forum CubaLibre!

In Praga was The same: people stay sit down on chairs during the first chapter. When started with Vedo Nero, I started with dance... and with my big surprise other people did the same.

Ziggo Dome was not quite sold out, I guess 70 - 80 percent. Zucchero looked relaxed. He said Ziggo Dome is perhaps the best venue in Europe, but he also invited us to come to Verona (next year in May?!) Wink

He apologized because he mostly sings in Italian, but hey: he did speak English most of the show! Smile

He took time to introduce the members of the band one by one. In his words: "the best band in Europe nowadays". I have to say that it is a great mix of artists! I was particularly impressed bij Brain Auger (the guy is 77 years old!) and Tonya (great voice, great performance). And also Doug Pettibone is an asset.

So we had an awesome night and I hope he will performe in Verona during the holidays in May...

He told us that he will do another 10 Verona shows in may.

Looks like a great setlist! My sister sent me Whatsap updates as the night progressed and said it was a great show. She also was not blown away by the Borsato guest appearance and based on the videos online I would agree (not surprising, but at least he seemed to be having fun). I was really surprised by the seating arrangement - it would have made more sense for the Chocabeck tour when the first half of the show was mostly slow songs - with Black Cat it seems like it would suck a lot of the energy from the up tempo songs out of the room.
