It's seems that in Usa and Canada tour dates Zucchero plays without the full band.

Tonya Boyd Cannon and Mario Schirilo are out.
Queen Cora is out in the last dates (she was in the first dates)
Brian Auger seems out in last dates (Canada or San Francisco, for example)

Budget issues or artistically & personal decisions ?

I miss Tonya's gigs on social networks...

...but in youtube there are some videos about the USA tour.

A good video in youtube - March 22, Vancouver – CDN – Vogue Theatre:

It's pretty common that they limit the band for the US gigs since they're always in much smaller venues than in Europe. For example, during the last US tour Mario wasn't there either, and on some dates they had some of the musicians from the Cuban tour but not on others. For the Chocabeck tour they didn't bring the horn or string sections, and for the All The Best tour they didn't bring the horn section. I think it's just a $ thing - these are small shows and hotel rooms, plane tickets, etc. might add up.

yes, Boris. Probably is a $ thing.

Well, the USA tour in small venues is the best way to be very close to the public and feel good vibrations and play it through new sensations.
The below video explains better what I try to say...

I think this band has less appeal than others. Mario also is not brillant as the past.

I think the last tour was worth was the "all the best" tour, cause he did not have to sing some new songs from new album, so the setlist was almost perfect.

La Sesion Cubana was fresh and with a crazy wall of sound. Setlist wasn't so good as "all the best" but as sound was unbeatable.

This tour has no sound to me, and band seems not so brillant. I think Peruch has no energy at keyboards, and Adriano Molinari has lost his energy.

I Think Zucchero should work more on the sound of the band, and say to the musicians to do solos that we can call real solos. Sometimes they don't really put some soul in those.

Nobody said is easy... and this job is definitely not easy. But if I was Zucchero, I doul make less concerts, but with more quality. Play every day every year make the soul, the voice, the mind, the body, so tired.

Apprezzo la decisione di tenere Doug Pettibone, vero valore aggiunto di tutto l'ensemble, pur non avendo un'immagine appariscente. Il prossimo disco dovrebbe partire da lui in termini di sound.

I feel they are just going ahead without any direction... the band has no energy anymore. If you remember the previous tours, everytime Zucchero was renewing hiself and putting something new and unexpected. Now I feel just that he's tired, and maybe he really needs to stop for a long time as he did after Miserere, and find new energies, inside and outside him. Plus: what positive u want to expect from Zucchero if your first collaborator is Max Marcolini? He sucks. No, after so many years, we can really say that the cut with Corrado Rustici was an artistic disaster.
